Fatally Wounded Gunshot Victim Found At Phoenix Bus Stop

PHOENIX, AZ ­— On Sunday around 5:30 p.m., police were called to the area of 8000 N. 27th Avenue and found a man with several gunshot wounds lying on the ground at a Phoenix bus stop. The victim, Damian Relierford, 28, was taken to an area hospital and there died from his injuries.

Police learned through investigation that the suspect and Relierford had an argument prior to the shooting, and that drugs and stolen goods were possible motivations for the crime.

The suspect is still unidentified by police, who continue to investigate.
