Fire Crews Free Man Lodged Between Shipping Container, Wall In Phoenix
The incident happened Sun. when the victim fell from the top of the container. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

PHOENIX, AZ —Firefighters from Phoenix and Glendale worked together Sunday afternoon to extricate an adult male who was lodged between a 24-foot-long shipping container and a wall, the Phoenix Fire Department said.
Fire officials said the incident — which occurred in the area of 16th Avenue and Hatcher Road —began when the victim was walking on top of the shipping container, fell about 10 feet and became stuck.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the fall and was transported via ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation., PFD spokesperson Captain Scott Douglas said.

According to Douglas, the rescue operation involved Technical Rescue Teams using a heavy-duty airbag to move the shipping container the 12 inches that were necessary to rescue the victim.
"Once (the container) was moved, the patient was able to position himself in a way that firefighters could assist him out of the tight space," Douglas said.
