Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio: Wife's Cancer In Complete Remission
"Ava has been my 'Rock' for 60 years," Joe Arpaio wrote after hearing that her cancer is in "complete remission."

PHOENIX, AZ – Joe Arpaio, the former Maricopa County Sheriff who is running for the Republican nomination for the senate, shared some good news on his Facebook page on Tuesday. His wife, Ava's cancer is in "complete remission."
"My wife, Ava, was told by her doctors at the Mayo Clinic her cancer was in complete remission," he wrote.
"I want to thank the doctors and each of you for your thoughts and prayers. Ava has been my 'Rock' for 60 years."

In his Facebook post, Arpaio added that Ava will keep supporting his attempt to run for the seat being vacated by Jeff Flake.
