Glendale Jobs: City Hiring Lifeguards For The Summer

The season starts in May and ends in September. While the lifeguard positions are temporary, people will get to work up to hour hours/week.

GLENDALE, AZ – Enjoy spending time at the pool? Have strong feeling about safety? Looking for something to do this summer? Glendale may have the answer.

The city is looking to hire several dozen lifeguards to work at the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center this summer.

While the jobs are not full-time – the jobs last from early May through early September – lifeguards will have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours each week plus overtime.

You must be at least 15-years-old and have two certifications from the American Red Cross – one for lifeguard and rescue training and the other for CPR and AED training for the professional rescuer.

The city says that you must have all the certifications in place before applying.
