Man Charged In Multiple Phoenix Sexual Assaults: Police
Kedrin Wardell, 48, was charged in connection with four Phoenix area sexual assault dating back to 2016, police said.
PHOENIX, AZ — A man has been charged in connection with four sexual assaults that date back to 2016, Phoenix police said.
Kedrin Wardell, 48, was charged on Friday with 18 counts, including sexual assault, kidnapping and aggravated assault, among other charges, according to police.
Wardell was charged in connection with a 2016 sexual assault near 24th Street and Van Buren Street, in addition to one near 48th Street and McDowell Road from 2019, police said.

Additionally, Wardell was charged in connection with a sexual assault from 2019 that occurred near 15th Avenue and Van Buren Street and one in 2020 that occurred near 35th Avenue and McDowell Road, according to police.
Wardell is currently being held in jail on $500,000 bond.

If convicted of sexual assault, Wardell faces a minimum sentence of 5.2 years in prison on each count.
If convicted of kidnapping, Wardell faces between one and 12 years in prison on each count.
Additionally, if convicted of aggravated assault, Wardell faces between seven and 21 years in prison on each count.
