Man Fatally Shot Near 31st Avenue: Phoenix Police
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the shooting stemmed from an argument with the suspect. No arrests have been made at this time.
PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police are on the lookout for the person responsible for fatally gunning down a man on Memorial Day.
According to officers, around 1:49 a.m., police responded to the area of 31st Avenue and Van Buren Street regarding a call for a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The gunshot victim was transported to the hospital where he later died, police said.

Prior to the shooting, police believe the victim was involved in an altercation in the area with the suspect. Detectives said they are working to identify the suspect and determine what led up to the shooting.
