Man Hit, Killed By Light Rail Train In Phoenix: Police
The man was crossing the tracks near Central Avenue and Culver Street when he was struck, according to police.
PHOENIX, AZ — A pedestrian was struck by a light rail train and killed Wednesday evening as he crossed the tracks near Central Avenue and Culver Street, according to police.
Police had not publicly identified the man as of Thursday morning.
The train hit the man around 6:50 p.m. Wednesday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
