Man Killed In Phoenix Hit-And-Run

A man was struck and killed by a Honda sedan as he was walking with his 5-year-old son in Phoenix Friday morning, police said.

PHOENIX, AZ — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday morning after he was struck by a Honda Civic on Friday morning, Phoenix police said.

The man was struck as he was walking west on Wood Street with his 5-year-old son at 7:30 a.m. and died at a nearby hospital, according to police.

The victim's son was able to avoid the crash and was not injured, police said.

The car involved in the hit-and-run crash is an early 2000's grey Honda Civic that struck the victim as it traveled westbound on Wood Street, according to police.

Anyone with information about Friday's hit-and-run crash was asked to call Phoenix police at 602-262-6151 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
