Man Shot To Death In Phoenix Wednesday Morning: Police

The man was shot following a confrontation and was found laying on the ground, police said. The suspected shooter has not been found.

PHOENIX, AZ — A man was shot to death in an early morning confrontation Wednesday in Phoenix, according to police.

Devion Oliver, 33, was found laying on the ground with a gunshot wound around 7:30 a.m. near 22nd Avenue and Heatherbrae Drive, police said.

He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

The shooter fled on foot, but after a search of the area, police did not find him.
