Silver Alert Canceled: Elderly Woman Missing Near Phoenix Is Safe

Authorities found missing 73-year-old Katherine Susan Mueller, with the Silver Alert issued Thursday now canceled.

PHOENIX, AZ — Authorities have located a 73-year-old woman with dementia that went missing on Wednesday, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.

Katherine Susan Mueller was last seen at 6 p.m. Wednesday leaving Anthem's Merrill Gardens assisted living facility in a red, 2018 Lexus ES350, with license plate "KEJ58," the office said.

Mueller was found in an undisclosed location on Thursday morning and is safe, the office said.
