Phoenix Man Dies In Fall At Horseshoe Bend

The Coconino County Sheriff's Office says that it happened Sunday afternoon. Zachary Wallace fell 800 feet off the edge of a cliff.

PHOENIX, AZ – A 33-year-old man from Phoenix is dead after a fall at Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The Coconino County Sheriff's Office says that it happened Sunday afternoon.

Zachary Wallace and his brother were up by the edge.

The surviving Wallace told park rangers that he saw his brother slip and fall. it was about 3:30 p.m..

Rangers were able to reach Zachary's body from the Colorado River.
