Phoenix PD Found Dead Body When They Investigated ‘Foul Odor’
Police were called to an industrial building Thursday because a room was leaking a "foul odor." That's when officers found a dead woman.

PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police were called to 4100 W. Whitton Ave. in Phoenix Thursday around 10:30 a.m. on a report of “unknown trouble.” Officers arrived and were told a room had a “foul odor” coming from inside. Police entered the room and found a dead female.
Police are classifying the death as a homicide because of the conditions in which the victim's body was left. Police also reported that the victim sustained "extensive injuries to multiple locations of her body."
The room the victim was found in is in a building in an industrial area. The building’s owners lease the rooms to separate individuals, and the room officers found the victim in is presently rented to a man whom authorities have named a person of interest in the case. The man’s whereabouts are currently unknown, and police haven’t released his name.
