Phoenix PD Seek Driver Who Killed Grand Canyon University Student
Taylor White was out jogging with a friend when he was struck and killed. He was set to be married in two weeks.

PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix police want to know who was driving a vehicle that struck and killed a jogger Sunday night. Twenty-one-year-old Taylor White pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say that White was out jogging with a friend – both are students at Grand Canyon University – when they entered the crosswalk at North 31st Avenue and West Camelback Road. They had the green light.
As they started to cross, a white SUV – possibly a Ford or Lincoln – drove by other vehicles that were waiting for the light to change and entered the intersection, striking and killing white.

The vehicle kept going. White's friend was not injured.
The school released a statement saying that White, who is from Colorado Springs, had been scheduled to be married in two weeks. His fiancee is also a student at the school as his younger brother.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Taylor White," the school says. "As a close-knit community of students, faculty and staff, please keep White's family and friends in your hearts during this tragic time."
Police say that ayone with information about this vehicle or collision is urged to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or for Spanish 480-TESTIGO. As always, callers may remain anonymous and could earn a reward of up to $1,000.
