Phoenix Police Make Arrest In Fatal Hit And Run On Sunday
Police say that Ronald Hays struck Isela Ortega and drove a few blocks with her stuck in his windshield. He turned himself in.

PHOENIX, AZ – The man driving a car that struck and killed a woman crossing the street on Sunday has turned himself in. Ronald Hays, 22, is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal collision.
Isela Ortega was crossing Van Buren Street by 27th Avenue around 10:30 on Sunday night when she was struck by the Chrysler that Hays was driving.
Police say that she got stuck in his windshield and that he drove several blocks before she fell to the ground.

Friends of Ortega have set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for funeral expenses.
