UPDATE: Phoenix Silver Alert Issued For Alan Harrington, 78

UPDATE: The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that Alan Harrington has been located.

PHOENIX, AZ — The family of 78-year-old Alan Harrington is worried about his safety, and the Phoenix Police Department has issued a silver alert for the missing man. Harrington was last seen Thursday around noon walking out of his residence near N. 31st Avenue and W. Northern Avenue.

Harrington is 5’7” and 250 lbs with blue eyes and gray hair. Thursday he was wearing black pants, a gray sweatshirt, a red watch and possibly a pair of eyeglasses.

Harrington is a newcomer to the area where he lives and suffers from a medical condition that leaves him appearing confused and disoriented, police reported.

The Phoenix Police Department is asking anyone with information on Harrington’s whereabouts to call the Missing Persons Unit at 602-534-2121 or after hours at 602-262-6141.
