Phoenix Woman Missing Since Sunday Told Family She'd Been Stabbed

Her boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of fraud, unrelated to the woman's disappearance.

PHOENIX, AZ — A Phoenix woman told family that she'd been stabbed in the neck before she went missing early Sunday morning, according to Phoenix Police and a report from 12 News.

Irene Luevano, 37, was last seen around 4 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix, police said.

She might be injured and need medical treatment, according to Phoenix police.

Police described Luevano as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black dress and black shoes. She might be driving a gray 2007 four-door Chevy Impala.

Jorge Quintero Lara, Luevano's boyfriend, was booked into Maricopa County Jail on suspicion of fraud Monday, unrelated to her disappearance, 12 News reported.
