Police Find Vehicle That Killed Grand Canyon University Student
Taylor White was killed while jogging on April 8. Police have recovered the vehicle but are still looking for the driver.

PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix police have recovered the vehicle that struck and killed Taylor White when he was out jogging with a friend on April 8. Police have not said where or when they found the vehicle.
Police say that White and his friend – both are students at Grand Canyon University – wee jogging when they entered the crosswalk at North 31st Avenue and West Camelback Road. They had the green light.
As they started to cross, a white SUV – originally thought to be either a Ford or Lincoln – drove by other vehicles that were waiting for the light to change and entered the intersection, striking and killing white.

The school released a statement saying that White, who is from Colorado Springs, had been scheduled to be married in two weeks. His fiancee is also a student at the school as his younger brother.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Taylor White," the school said at the time. "As a close-knit community of students, faculty and staff, please keep White's family and friends in your hearts during this tragic time."
Police say that anyone with information about this vehicle or collision is urged to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or for Spanish 480-TESTIGO. As always, callers may remain anonymous and could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
