Senior Couple Dead After Husband Shoots Wife, Self: Police
They were both 80 years old. Two dogs were also found dead at the scene, according to police.
PHOENIX, AZ — An older couple is dead after the husband shot his wife and them himself in Phoenix early Saturday morning, according to police.
Susan Potts, 80, was pronounced dead at the scene near 40th and Cholla streets.
Williams Potts, 80, was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.

Two dogs were also found dead at the scene, according to police.
Police believe that William Potts called 911 around 3:50 a.m. Saturday and told operators that he had just shot his wife. While operators were talking to him, they heard a gunshot, police said.
