UPDATE: Silver Alert Issued For 62 Year Old Speaking Spanish Only

Agustine Rosales, 62, disappeared Sunday after leaving his family's home to walk to church. He speaks Spanish only and has dementia.

Update: The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported later on Monday that Rosales was located.

ARIZONA — Chandler police have issued a silver alert for 62-year-old Agustine Rosales, who disappeared Sunday. Rosales speaks Spanish only and is diagnosed with dementia.

The missing man was last seen around 12:30 p.m. as he left his family’s home near the 800 block of N. Oregon Street in Chandler, walking to the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church on Galveston Street. He was wearing a gray/white/black checkered button-down, long-sleeved shirt and gray dress pants.

Rosales is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 154 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He doesn’t have a cellphone or transportation, the Arizona Department of Public Safety reported.

The Chandler Police Department is asking anyone with information on Rosales’ whereabouts to call 911.
