Two Attacks In Phoenix Left Three Dead Within 24 Hours: Police

The two separate attacks left a 16-year-old girl and two men dead, police said.

PHOENIX, AZ — One teenager was killed and another was injured in a Sunday night shooting in Phoenix. Less than 24 hours later, in a separate incident, two men were found dead in an apartment with "obvious signs of trauma," according to police.

After being shot around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Kassandra Cisneros, 16, died from her injuries, police said. Cisneros was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition and police announced on Monday that she had died. An 18-year-old man who was also shot was also hospitalized for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Police believe that the two were in a vehicle near the intersection of 65th Avenue and Thomas Road when they were shot, police said.

Less than 24 hours after the teens were shot, around 5 p.m. Monday Phoenix police found two men dead in an apartment in the 3200 block of East Roosevelt Street.

One of the men was Rodrigo Antillon, 35. Police had not yet publicly identified the other man.

Both men had obvious signs of trauma, according to police, and both died at the scene.
