U of A Vs. ASU Online Program Ratings: U.S. News & World Report

ARIZONA — Go to any Arizona State University versus University of Arizona hockey game in Tucson and you’ll see U of A fans cheering when an ASU player gets knocked into a wall by a U of A player. And U of A fans will bring down the house when their team scores a goal. But the opposite is also true when watching any ASU game in Tempe. But what about scholastically? Where do the two famously rivalrous universities stand against each other on the academic side? U.S News & World Report recently ranked both college’s online degree programs, the results of which might have you cheering, depending on your team:

In the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs category, ASU was ranked No. 6, while the U of A was ranked in a five-way tie at No. 11 alongside Charleston Southern University, two Colorado State University campuses and the University of Georgia.

In the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans category, the U of A was in a four-way tie at No. 8, alongside two Colorado State University campuses and Charleston Southern University. ASU was ranked No. 4 in this category.

For Best Online MBA, ASU and the U of A tied at No. 10 with each other and the University of Maryland, University of Washington and University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium.

The U of A and ASU once again tied each other in the Best Online MBA Program for Veterans, both ranked at No. 6, sharing the No. 6 slot also with the University of Maryland, the University of Washington and the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium.

In the Best Online Master’s in Engineering Programs group, ASU appears at No. 13 in a tie with Johns Hopkins University, while U of A sits at No. 38 alongside Kansas State University, Ohio University and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

When it comes to the Best Online Master’s in Engineering Programs for Veterans, the U of A was ranked No. 22, in a tie with Kansas State University and Ohio University. ASU appears at No. 11.

In Best Online Master’s in Education Programs, ASU came in at No. 15, tying with Florida State University, the University of Delaware, University of Iowa and University of Massachusetts-Lowell. The U of A was ranked No. 48 in this category, tied with Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, George Mason University and the University of Cincinnati.

U.S. News & World Report ranked the U of A at No. 19 in the Best Online Master’s in Special Education Programs category while ASU was ranked No. 3.

On the online programs rankings list, both ASU and the U of A additionally appeared in categories the other didn’t, such as:
