Waymo Self-Driving Van Involved In Chandler Crash

CHANDLER, AZ – Another self-driving car has been involved in a crash in Arizona. This time, Friday afternoon in Chandler.

Police say that a Waymo self-driving van was involved in a collision at Chandler Boulevard and Los Feliz.

Waymo was started by Google in 2009 as a project and then spun off as a subsidiary company of Google parent, Alphabet, two years ago.

Police say that there were minor injuries.
