Woman Detained In Connection To Phoenix Apartment Fire: Police

PHOENIX, AZ — A woman has been detained in connection to a large apartment fire in Phoenix early Friday morning, according to Phoenix police.

Police did not share the woman's identity or whether she had been charged as of Friday afternoon.

The fire displaced six people, but no injuries were reported, the Phoenix Fire Department said.

The fire happened early Friday at an apartment near the intersection of 12th Street and Maryland Avenue, according to the Phoenix Fire Department. Firefighters got the blaze under control in around an hour, the fire department said.
