Woman Stabs Three Men To Save Another

Ladonna Hamilton, 22, allegedly stabbed three men to save another man. One of the victims, Willie Rias, died of his injuries.

PHOENIX – Around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Phoenix police were called to the area of 8200 W. Palm Lane on reports of several people engaged in a physical fight. During the fight, 20-year-old Willie Rias, along with an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old male, started to overpower a 25-year-old male whom the police are calling an “investigative lead.” That was when 22-year-old Ladonna Hamilton allegedly stabbed the 18- and 19-year-old men and Rias.

Hamilton and the investigative lead then left the scene, and police arrived and found the three stabbed men, all of which were taken to a hospital where Rias was pronounced dead. The 18-year-old male sustained minor injuries, while the 19-year-old male sustained serious injuries.

Hamilton and the investigative lead were located nearby at an apartment and were questioned by police. Hamilton was taken into custody, charged with Aggravated Assault (a Class 2 felony) and Second-degree Murder (a Class 1 felony).
