Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. The Scottsdale Airport broke a previous record for processing international aircraft during last week. The airport completed its 2,000th flight this fiscal year which ends on Sep. 30. The airport will likely end the fiscal year with 2,090 aircraft processed — a significant boost over the previous record of 490 aircraft in 2012-2013. (Signals AZ)
  2. Scottsdale Public Art and the City of Scottsdale will be hosting a dedication ceremony for "Pinball Wizard" on Sep. 22 at 6:00 p.m. The free ceremony will be at the Stetson Plaza splash pad. Artist Annette Coleman will be honored during the ceremony. The "Pinball Wizard" art installation will be a permanent fixture at Stetson Plaza. (KTAR)
  3. Trump supporters are weaponizing records requests to overwhelm Maricopa County's Election Office. Mike Lindell, MyPillow CEO, urged Trump supporters to request records during an event last month. The records request weaponization strategy is occurring throughout the country in locations such as Wisconsin and Michigan. (Salon.com)
