  1. A local nonprofit has been awarded $100,000 to help families impacted by extended health crises remain in their homes. The grant was awarded to Care Fund by The Saguaros, an Arizona-based group that raises funds throughout the year to support children's charities. The funds will directly support Care Fund's mortgage and rental assistance program. (Local Today Arizona)
  2. Scottsdale's Fall Festival returns to Eldorado Park this Saturday, Oct. 29, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The 51st annual festival will run from noon to 4:00 p.m. and feature costume contests, game booths, food trucks, and plenty of candy. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. (City Sun Times)
  3. TPC Scottsdale has begun preparations to host the 88th annual WM Phoenix Open next February. In advance of the tournament, the site has launched construction projects on the 16th and 17th holes of the golf course. TPC Scottsdale will also add hospitality suites and upgrades to the Talking Stick Resort Fan Zone in preparation for the four-day event. (12 News)
