Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:
- Scottsdale's Dia de Los Muertos celebration will feature an Art Installation Experience from Oct. 22 through Nov. 22. The installation is meant to celebrate the city's culture, tradition, and diversity. It will be hosted on the grounds of the historic Old Adobe Mission. Towering sculptures, altars, and art will be on display. (Foodgressing.com)
- A former employee of the Scottsdale Fire Department has been arrested with his wife for allegedly pointing guns at teenagers. According to the court paperwork, Steven Leitzell, 43, and his wife, Emily Leitzell, 42, are facing charges for the incident which occurred at an after-prom party on May 2. Steven Leitzell had been a captain with the department in the field operations division. (AZ Family)
- The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Saturday morning in Buckeye. According to the department, the crash occurred near N. Jackrabbit Trail and Taylor Street around 10:50 a.m. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and is at a local hospital in critical condition. The department is currently investigating the crash. (AZ Family)
