Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. Residents near Hayden and Jackrabbit Roads are reporting a significant amount of dead fish in a wash. The Arizona Game and Fish Department has reason to believe that the fish washed down the Indian Bend Wash during earlier flooding and eventually died after the puddles dried up. The dead fish smell is spreading through the area. (Arizona's Family)
  2. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has denied a water taxing district for Northeast Valley residents. The residents are reportedly split on creating the water district. Some want it and some want to contract with a private company. The board voted unanimously to deny the water taxing district. (The Arizona Republic)
  3. A man was rushed to a Scottsdale hospital on Wednesday morning after falling at a construction site. The Scottsdale Fire Department responded to the DC Ranch area after receiving reports that a man had fallen about 12 feet into a vault area. The man's condition is currently unknown.
