  1. Scottsdale Mayor David Ortega was recently interviewed by CBS regarding the mega drought's impact on the city. The mayor elaborated on his insight into the drought. (citysuntimes)
  2. Early Sunday morning saw an early morning crash that left one man dead, a woman in jail, and another man in jail. The head-on crash took place in northwest Phoenix. (Arizona's Family)
  3. Phoenix Union High School District listened to 75 attendees at a recent listening session to discuss whether or not to put police back onto school campuses. The school board was interested in the opinions of community members about safety concerns at schools. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
  4. A large fire at a storage facility down the road in Mesa burned for hours on Saturday. Dozens of firefighters from nearby Mesa, Gilbert and Tempe responded to the incident. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
