Here are the top 3 stories in Scottsdale today:
- Lime, the brand known for its suite of electric transportation services, expanded its presence in the Valley this week with launch of e-bikes in Scottsdale. A press release from the company says residents can expect more than 100 of the electric bicycles to roll out onto the streets of Scottsdale in the coming days. Lime's e-bikes and e-scooters can also be found in Phoenix, where the brand relaunched this summer after temporarily halting business in 2020. (KTAR.com)
- A selection of Native American art and pottery is currently up for auction at the Larsen Gallery in Scottsdale. The exhibition features the work of 60 different native artists and is the largest collection of Indigenous art ever to be displayed at the gallery. The pieces will be included in the 2022 Fall Larsen Art Auction on Saturday, Oct. 22. (Arizona's Family)
- A dog daycare in Scottsdale closed temporarily after several of its canine residents experienced severe cases of kennel cough, an infectious respiratory breed in dogs. The Barking Dog reopened this week after an extensive deep clean of the property, but pet owners around the area are advised to ensure their dogs are up to date on Bordetella vaccines and other immunizations. Dogs showing symptoms of kennel cough such as coughing, sneezing, runny nose, and loss of appetite should take their pet to a veterinarian as soon as possible. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
