  1. Fish invade Scottsdale sidewalks! Yup, you read that correctly — Scottsdale residents are finding fish on the sidewalks and caught in drainage pipes after being displaced by recent storms. Throughout Hayden Road, Indian School Road, and Eldorado Park, clean up crews and residents are attempting to save the fish they can, and dispose of the ones they can't. If you see dead or trapped fish, the City asks that you call crews at 480-312-3111 or file a request for help on their website. (AZFamily)
  2. Police are investigating after a bank near Hayden Road was robbed on Tuesday. Scottsdale police are working with the FBI in these early stages of investigation to determine what exactly occurred at the U.S. Bank. Keep an eye on your Scottsdale Daily, as I will keep you all updated as the investigation progresses. (12 News)
  3. Residents of the Arcadia at Silverleaf neighborhood of DC Ranch are fighting the removal of 670 trees. The small forest of trees is set for removal due to aggressive root damage. (Free Overview: Facebook, Subscription: Daily Independent)
  4. Speaking of trees, the McCormick Ranch Golf Club is set to reopen this week after losing more than 200 trees in this week's storms. The Palm Course is set to reopen Friday, but the Pine Course could take four to six weeks to repair. Damages are estimated at $600,000. (ABC 15)
  5. Scottsdale resident Ricardo Elias was arrested last week in connection to a sexual assault that occurred in May. The victim suspects that Elias drugged her drink while they were at a rave, as she began to waver in and out of consciousness despite having only a few drinks. Over a recorded phone call, Elias admitted to assaulting her, saying she did not have the ability to consent. (AZCentral)
