  1. Early Monday morning, a pedestrian was stuck by a vehicle near 96th Street and Shea Boulevard. The injuries are life-threatening. While the investigation continues, 96th Street will be closed from Shea to Via Linda. (Fox)
  2. On May 24 2020, Yessenia Garcia was arrested for a hit-and-run by Scottsdale police — despite clear video evidence proving her innocence. Officers responding to the hit-and-run assumed Garcia's vehicle was involved, given the windshield was shattered and hood dented. However, security footage shows Garcia's car never left its spot in Old Town, and that someone vandalized her car a half hour after the hit-and-run occurred. Scottsdale Police Chief Jeff Walther has since opened an internal affairs investigation as to how officers arrested Garcia after seeing the video, and why the report calls the video inconclusive regarding her innocent. (ABC15)
  3. The Arabian Horse Association of Arizona announced that the Arabian National Breeder Finals will once again return to Scottsdale's WestWorld. The competition consists of a series of different performances in which the horses compete for $100,000 and the Finals Champion title. The four-day event also features jewelry exhibitors, clothing, equestrian artwork, and food cabanas. (AZBigMedia)
  4. Sneaky Big Studios in Scottsdale is helping Phoenix native Sean Dean achieve his ultimate dream — becoming a professional artist. Make-A-Wish Arizona and Sneaky Big Studios partnered to give the 20-year-old and opportunity to record his own music. Although COVID-19 restrictions delayed the recording, Sneaky Big Studios says Dean's recordings will be released soon. (12News)
