Using the Patch platform and your knowledge of spelling, grammar, and general writing skills, you'll review daily newsletters written by Patch freelancers to ensure readers are receiving the best quality product. You’ll earn a flat fee per day for editing around 20 newsletters each afternoon.

You’ll be supported by Patch employees working on the project, as well as other copyeditors currently working on the project.

5 qualities of ideal candidates:

• Follows directions to ensure all elements of a newsletter are present
• Has a strong grasp of spelling, grammar, word usage, and general writing skills
• Is able to review overall newsletter quality
• Can devote around 4 hours each evening, 5 days a week, to reviewing newsletters
• Able to communicate edits clearly and effectively

Knowledge of the AP Style Guide is a plus though not required.
