Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:
- Scottsdale Mayor David Ortega has signed a proclamation making Oct. 1 "10 to 1 Public Relations Day." The proclamation was to honor the strategic communications firm's 10th anniversary. Since 2012, the Scottsdale-based firm has grown to a team of a dozen full-time employees with clients from around the world. (AZ Big Media)
- The Scottsdale Police Department reports that an employee of West Pharmaceuticals used the company's Amazon account to illegally purchase hundreds of items. Darius O'Neal Hickson allegedly used the company's corporate account to steal more than $137,000 from the company. The items included BB guns, clothing, video games, game consoles, and more. He was arrested from his Florence home. (AZ Family)
- The Immersive King Tut exhibit has opened in Old Town Scottsdale. The exhibit is the latest immersive experience from Lighthouse Immersive.
