March 9, 2022 (Phoenix, AZ)- At the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, a lot of the work we do takes place behind the scenes and beyond the courtroom. There is an immense amount of work that takes place every day in our office to keep the criminal justice system on track.  

To better understand this work, every year we offer the community we serve a behind-the-scenes look in our Annual Report. This year’s report showcases the programs and the accomplishments we are most proud of as an office including ending the backlog of un-submitted sexual assault kits, the creation of a full-time Diversity and Community Engagement employee position, and our continued commitment to community outreach through our Keeping Families Safe campaign.  

All this work wouldn't be made possible without the men and women of our office, who have dedicated their careers to public service. Even through the continued impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, our staff’s commitment and dedication to this challenging work remained unchanged.

From everyone at MCAO, we thank you for your support and look forward to another year of important and innovative work serving the residents of Maricopa County.
