(eastvalleytribune.com) — A long-running fight over Axon’s massive North Scottsdale development is heating up again, as former councilman Bob Littlefield’s group demands the city rescind a new memorandum of understanding allowing 1,200 housing units. With one lawsuit already pending and another threatened, Scottsdale officials say the deal is legal while opponents push to halt any action under the agreement.

4. Old Town Scottsdale saloon donates dollar bills off walls to support a great cause (azfamily.com) — An Old Town Scottsdale landmark, the Rusty Spur Saloon, is once again pulling thousands of dollar bills from its walls to donate to Phoenix Children’s Foundation’s HOPE fund. Staff are tallying this year’s total, which previously topped $6,000, continuing a decades-old cowboy tradition that now helps support 170 child- and family-focused programs across the Valley.
   

5. Roger Penske Honors 60 Years of Racing Greatness With Retro Schemes and NASCAR Hall of Fame Tribute (profootballnetwork.com) — Scottsdale racing fans will get a close-up look at Team Penske history when the Penske Racing Museum hosts part of the team’s 60th anniversary exhibits in 2026. The celebration also includes a major NASCAR Hall of Fame display, retro paint schemes across NASCAR, IndyCar, and IMSA, and special fan events and merchandise throughout the season.
