Motorcycle Wreck Results In Deadly Chain Reaction
A woman whose Honda stopped on Loop 101 to help a motorcyclist died after her vehicle was hit and burst into flames.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A woman who was in a Honda that stopped to help a motorcyclist on Loop 101 died Sunday after the Honda was hit and burst into flames, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The woman's name has not been released.
At around 6 p.m. Sunday a motorcyclist fell off his bike and landed in the HOV lane on Loop 101 east. Two vehicles stopped to help the cyclist, blocking the HOV lane, according to the department.

An SUV crashed into the two stopped vehicles and they both burst into flames, a public safety spokesperson said.
The woman in the front passenger seat of one of the vehicles was trapped inside and died in the fire, the spokesperson said.
