Here are the top three stories today in Scottsdale:

1. A Denver gallery is opening its second Scottsdale location. Relévant Galleries will showcase both world-renowned artists as well as local talents. The gallery is currently showcasing the work of David Yarrow. Other gallery locations include Santa Fe, Aspen, and Vail. (Fabulous Arizona)
2. The City of Scottsdale is cracking down on vacation rental properties. All properties will require a valid Scottsdale license, regardless of their earlier status. The deadline for short-term/vacation rental properties is Jan. 8. No properties will be 'grandfathered in' under the new rules. (State of Arizona via Facebook)
3. Scottsdale Parks & Recreation is hiring! They're looking for people to assume the role of Recreation Leaders.
