🌱 Railfair This Weekend + 'Police Situation' At Chili's + Nevermore

Here are the top stories today in Scottsdale:

1. McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park's Railfair 2023 will take place this weekend! The annual event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free, and guests can enjoy "model train displays, exhibits, a wide selection of the park's seldom-seen vintage railroad equipment, along with special presentations on railroad and Arizona history." 2. There was a "police situation" at the Chili's Grill & Bar at Talking Stick Pavilions near Pima and Indian Bend roads late Sunday night. A full report of the incident has not yet been released, but a staff member allegedly called his father during the incident and told him that he was hiding in the freezer from a man with a gun. 3. The W Scottsdale Hotel, 7277 E. Camelback Road, will be hosting a Nevermore Halloween event for ages 21 and over on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume to enjoy a night that "combines the haunting allure of Nevermore with the frightful charm inspired by Addams Family."
