  1. A Scottsdale animal shelter who adopted five orphan bear cubs last year has released them into the wild. Three of the cubs were taken in back in August of 2021 by the Southwest Wildlife Conversation Center after their mothers died. Two more were added to the group by the end of the year. All five bears have been returned to the wild. (KJZZ)
  2. The Scottsdale Quarter will be holding The Santa Social to usher in the holiday season. The highly-anticipated kick-off event will take place on Nov. 26 from 2:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. in The Quad. This is the 10th year of the popular event. Visitors will be able to get photos with Santa Claus, witness a tree lightning ceremony, hear live entertainment, and see an outdoor movie. (citysuntimes)
  3. The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park's Holiday Lights will pull into the station starting Friday, Nov. 25. Travelers will experience a gorgeous experience with holiday lights and a fun display. There will be time to take photos with Santa Claus along the way. Children two and under get free admission. (City of Scottsdale - Government via Facebook)
