  1. Every 10 years, after the Census, a process of redistricting takes place. This process modifies voting areas based on Census statistics. And this year, the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community shared its recommendation with the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission on how to redistrict in a way that best serves the interests of the community. Scottsdale's new Transportation Action Plan is prioritizing "prioritizing people, safety and livability" over nearly every other aspect of transportation: expanded access to public transport, innovating technology on current transportation sources, and environmental sustainability solutions.
