Multiple witnesses reported seeing high-performance cars weaving in and out of traffic just moments before the crash, police said. An investigation revealed that the driver of a 2015 blue Corvette lost control, hit the center median on Scottsdale Road and crashed into two other cars, police said.

The car was traveling at over 90 mph in an area where the speed limit is 45 mph, police said. Investigators do not believe impairment was a factor.
