Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. Scottsdale will be honoring local military members with banners in Old Town. The program will start in November and last for two weeks. The banners will be displayed from street light poles.   2. The owner of popular rock club, Rogue Bar, has passed away. Manny Tripodis, 51, died on Tuesday evening after a three-year battle with cancer. He passed in the company of his close family and friends. The family is asking donations be made in lieu of flowers to Feed Phoenix in Tripodis' name. (The Arizona Republic)
  3. The Night for Sight gala returns on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Dominick's Steakhouse in Scottsdale. The fundraiser supports The Foundation for Blind Children.
