According to the Weather Channel, Scottsdale will have "Abundant Sunshine" today — a phrasing I rather enjoy! And it's accurate, as the high soars to 105. But but the low drops to 79.

  1. Being furloughed in 2020 didn't slow down Scottsdale resident Mike Clevenger, founder of the Scottsdale Selfie. Clevenger inspiration began when his twin daughters introduced him to the social media Tik Tok, but it grew into a fun family business. By combining elements of Tik Tok and Instagram selfies with traditional studio photograph, Clevenger created a unique studio space where family and friends can go all out (costumes, makeup, etc) and snap some professional selfies. (Scottsdale Progress)
  2. This week, the Arabian Library opened its doors to the public for the first time since March 2020. The library is still maintaining its drive-thru hours Monday to Saturday. But book lovers can come in-person Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. (Facebook)
  3. A new sunshade is being installed at Zuni Park’s playground, and construction should be complete by Thursday, September 23. Even though this will improve the playground overall, it also means that the equipment will be inaccessible until construction is complete. (Facebook)
