Here are the top stories today in Scottsdale:
- The City of Scottsdale Transportation department will be hosting senior "field training for public transportation in Scottsdale." If you've wanted to learn more about how to use the Scottsdale Trolley system, now is your chance! There will be four different opportunities departing from the Via Linda Senior Center or Granite Reef Senior Center. During the travel training, participants will learn how to use a specific route and stop for lunch along the way. Though the trainings are free, participants are expected to pay for their own lunch. You can sign up here. (Scottsdale Seniors Services via Facebook)
- Ninja Nation, an obstacle course arena and experience, is opening a location in Scottsdale this February! The first Arizona location will debut in Glendale this November, and a second location is anticipated at Hayden Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard. In October, the company will also offer a mobile arena for use at "schools, community centers and corporate events." (KTAR.com)
- Morning hailstorms hit Scottsdale this past Wednesday. Quarter-sized hail was in the forecast, and almost an inch of rain had fallen since Tuesday morning. You can check out a video at the link! (The Weather Channel)
