Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:
- The Scottsdale Police Department has arrested Spencer Stant, 47 years old, for a series of hit-and-run crashes that occurred on Sunday morning. The crashes began when Stant's white Chevy Tahoe struck a patrol car. He proceeded to strike two other vehicles. He has been booked on various charges that include Extreme DUI and Failure to Stop for Police Vehicles. (12news.com KPNX)
- The Scottsdale Police Department has arrested two individuals for a shooting that occurred at a local short-term rental. Aaron Melvin, 24 years old, and Sincere Hooks-Lilly, 23 years old, were arrested for allegedly shooting a woman after being invited back to the home from a nightclub. According to the department, Hooks-Lilly was the driver and Melvin was the shooter. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
- The Arizona Cardinals have some new fans: the sea lions at Scottsdale's OdySea Aquarium. The aquarium shared a video on social media of sea lions Hondo, Magoo, and Ella celebrating the return of Cardinals football.
