Here are the top three stories today in Scottsdale:

  1. The biggest sports party of the year is coming to the Scottsdale area. "Sport's Illustrated The Party" is an annual nightlife event the publication holds to celebrate the Super Bowl. The event will be held at SRPMIC's Talking Stick on Feb. 11. The guest list will include Machine Gun Kelly and The Chainsmokers, who will perform at the party as well. (Phoenix New Times)
  2. A new attraction in the Scottsdale area is encouraging people to believe in the unexplained. The UFO Experience is the newest attraction at Arizona Boardwalk. The exhibit dives into the history of UFOs and unexplained phenomena. Reports on alien abductions can be explored, and you'll even be able to see how the unexplained is depicted in Hollywood. The attraction is appropriate for alien enthusiasts of all ages. (Phoenix New Times)
  3. On Jan. 1, the City of Scottsdale will no longer provide water to Rio Verde Foothills. Hundreds of homes in the area could run out of water in less than two weeks. The decision from Scottsdale officials was made as part of its drought management program. Over 500 homes in Rio Verde depend on Scottsdale transporting water to them. (Arizona's Family)
