Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:
- The Christmas season has come to a close, and people all across Arizona are discarding their Christmas trees. Scottsdale residents looking for a place to get rid of their live Christmas tree are in luck, as they have two disposal options. Scottsdale has seven different locations that will be accepting trees until Jan. 16. And if you live in a single-family home, you can leave your trees in green waste pile and bulk trash services will pick it up right from your curb. (KTAR.com)
- Foodies know that Arizona is a state with an amazing selection of places to eat. So it's no surprise that Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Sedona all have restaurants that made it to OpenTable's "Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2022" list. Overall, five Arizona restaurants made the cut, including Scottsdale's Ocean 44 and Dominick's Steakhouse. The list of restaurants was compiled from over 13 million reviews of restaurants across the United States. (ABC15)
- Skiing has come to Scottsdale — well, sort of. Old Town Ski Lodge has opened in Scottsdale's Old Town, and it promises to provide a lodge experience without the need for boots and parkas. Located on East Stetson Dive, the lodge offers specially crafted cocktails with a ski lodge vibe. The Old Town Ski Lodge opens at 4:00 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. (Newsbreak)
