1 Dead In Tucson Shooting

A 48-year-old man died in a shooting near Stone Avenue and Fort Lowell Road Tuesday. Here's what we know.

TUCSON, AZ — A 48-year-old man was shot and killed near North Stone Avenue and West Fort Lowell Road on Tuesday.

Timothy Gerald Coleman died at a nearby hospital after being shot at 123 W. Delano St., police said.

A second man was shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

There are no suspects in the shooting, and no arrests were made, police said.

Coleman was killed after detectives determined that he attempted to rob the second man at the location, police said.

The second many pulled his own gun and shot Coleman after exchanging gunfire with him, according to police.
