Tucson to launch Personal Property Program for the unhoused (azpm.org) — Tucson is rolling out a new Personal Property Program in January to help unhoused residents safely store and reclaim their belongings. City staff say it’s designed to protect people’s property and pets while also keeping public spaces accessible, potentially making shelter and treatment options more workable for those currently living on the streets. 
2. Authorities investigating another Peeping Tom case in Pima County (kold.com) — Residents near Cortaro Farms and Thornydale in northwest Tucson are on edge after deputies began investigating another suspected Peeping Tom case outside an apartment bathroom window. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is reviewing unsettling video, urging neighbors to report suspicious activity, use cameras, and keep windows covered to help stop any repeat incidents.
3. New milestone for Tucson's Mosaic Quarter Iceplex project (kvoa.com) — Construction on Tucson’s Mosaic Quarter Iceplex just hit a topping-off milestone, moving the massive Ajo Way sports complex closer to its planned 2027 opening. The three-rink facility will host UA Wildcats Hockey, community skating, youth tournaments, and concerts, aiming to boost recreation options and economic activity for Tucson and Pima County residents.
4. Tucson menorah parade brightens streets with holiday cheer (kvoa.com) — A 30-car Hanukkah Menorah Parade wound through major Tucson streets, bringing music, lights, and celebration to neighborhoods from Speedway to Prince Road. Organized by Chabad Tucson, the event ended at Valley of the Moon with food, crafts, and festive activities aimed at sharing light and joy during a difficult year.
5. Triumph in Tragedy: Traveling Holocaust exhibit brings survivor stories across Arizona (tucsonweekly.com) — A major Holocaust education exhibit is coming to the Tucson Jewish Museum and Holocaust Center from late November through August 2026, featuring stories of survivors Andrew Schot and Margot Frank. Part of a five-city Arizona series, the free exhibit uses personal artifacts and companion events to keep survivor memories alive and push back against rising antisemitism through education.
